Nathan Villavicencio

Nathan Villavicencio is a Member of Technical Staff specializing in Communications Systems Engineering at The Aerospace Corporation since August 2023. Previously, Nathan served as a DoD HBCU/MI Summer Research Intern with the United States Department of Defense, focusing on machine learning applications in virtual and augmented reality. Nathan has a strong academic background, holding a Master of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics with a Chemistry minor from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant, Mathematics Instructor, and Physics Teacher, alongside various internships and mentorship positions aimed at supporting and enhancing the academic journey of students.
