Patrick Almazar

Patrick Almazar serves as a Commercial Space Integration Advisor at The Aerospace Corporation, providing expertise in integrating commercial space capabilities into Department of the Air Force plans and policies since June 2021. Previously, Patrick held the position of Senior Policy Advisor at the Office of the Secretary of Defense from June 2017 to June 2021, offering technical guidance on space-related matters. With extensive experience at The Aerospace Corporation, including roles as Senior Project Leader and Project Engineer, Patrick has contributed to significant initiatives for the National Reconnaissance Office and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Earlier in the career, Patrick held a Project Manager role at MITRE and spent two decades in the United States Air Force as an Acquisition Program Manager. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy and two Master's degrees in Management and Systems Management from Marymount University and the University of Southern California, respectively.
