Joel Kaiser

Joel Kaiser has been working in the software engineering field since 2021, when they began their roles as Senior Software Engineer at ai fleet and CoStar Group. Prior to this, they were a Senior Software Development Engineer at Emerson Automation Solutions from 2014 to 2021, where they actively used technologies such as C#, WPF, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP. From 2009 to 2013, they served as a SGT-E5 Cannon Crewmember (13B) in the Michigan Army National Guard, where they managed the well-being and performance of eight junior-enlisted soldiers as a team leader in a high-stress environment, transported, fired, and maintained a multi-million dollar cannon system (M777), and served a 10-month tour in the Middle East as a turret gunner on a convoy security mission. In 2013, they also held the role of C# Developer Intern at SalesPad, where they designed and developed more than 15 custom projects and add-ins for the core SalesPad software, utilized C# and T-SQL regularly for development work, and created and tested custom SQL views, stored procedures, and triggers using SQL Server.

Joel Kaiser attended Lutheran High School North from 2004 to 2008. Joel then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Grand Valley State University between 2008 and 2014.
