Suresh Kumar P has extensive work experience in quality and food safety roles. Suresh Kumar began their career in 2000 as a Food Technologist at SARA SPICES, where they conducted chemical and microbiological analysis, quality control, and staff training. Suresh Kumar then worked at KKR Group of companies (NIRAPARA) as a Quality Controller, responsible for analyzing raw materials and leading ISO 9001:2008 and HACCP teams. From 2006 to 2007, they served as a Unit Manager at Socat LLC, Universal Sodexco, overseeing operational excellence and compliance with company standards. In 2007, they worked as a Consultant at Sanbook Quality Consultancy, providing gap analysis, developing procedures, and delivering training related to ISO standards. Currently, Suresh is working at The Akshaya Patra Foundation, where they have held roles as Deputy General Manager, General Manager, and Director in Quality for over a decade.
Suresh Kumar P has completed an Advanced Certified Food Professional Course in Food Safety from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Suresh Kumar has also obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Chemistry from Sree Sankara College Kalady Ernakulam. Before that, they attended NSS BHS for an unspecified period of time.
