Caitlin McCurdy is a seasoned fitness professional with extensive experience in coaching and personal training. Currently serving as the Owner and Coach at Iron Roots Strength Academy since May 2017, Caitlin is a StrongFirst certified Kettlebell instructor and functional movement-based programming expert, providing both individual and group instruction along with nutritional coaching. Caitlin's background includes roles as a Functional Movement Coach and Kettlebell Instructor at Tongass Crossfit, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Coach at Alaska Club, and Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Consultant at The Alaska Club, where Caitlin has also managed a team of personal trainers. Previous experience includes positions such as Kettlebell Instructor and Nutrition Coach at RxStrength Solutions, Personal Trainer at Equinox, and various coaching roles in field hockey, demonstrating a strong commitment to developing athletes and promoting physical fitness. Caitlin holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Iowa and additional education from the University of California, Berkeley.
