Cynthia Tisher

Cynthia Tisher joined TAC in 2022 as Chief Financial Officer. She has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting, including working with Alaska Native corporations (ANC) and 8(a) federal contracts. She understands the unique business structure of ANCs and their commitment to shareholders and shareholder development.

Cynthia has held several executive and senior management positions with Alaska Native corporations. Most recently, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Kikiktagurk Inupiat Corporation (KIC) and prior to KIC, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Rural Alaska Community Action Program. She served as chair of the 401(k) Savings Plan and Trust at Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC), as the Treasurer of the BBNC Education Foundation, and currently as a board member of the Food Bank of Alaska.

Cynthia was born and raised in Anchorage. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. She is Aleut and a Bristol Bay Native Corporation and Becharof Corporation shareholder. Cynthia loves spending time with her family, fishing in the summer, traveling, reading, and recently, learning to garden.
