Kate Gilling

Kate Gilling has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Kate currently holds the position of Communications Director at The Aleut Corporation since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Planning Manager, III at GCI General Communication, Inc. from April 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining GCI, Kate gained valuable experience at Spawn Ideas, where they served in various roles. Kate was a Project Supervisor from June 2018 to April 2020, a Project Manager from January 2017 to June 2018, and a Media Buyer from August 2015 to December 2016.

Kate began their career at USA TODAY as a Digital Account Manager from March 2014 to May 2015. Kate also worked as an English Teacher at LCI Academy from August 2012 to August 2013. Prior to that, they held the position of Digital Account Manager at both USA TODAY, Gannett, Inc. and Gannett Digital Marketing Services in 2012 and 2011 respectively.

Kate's professional journey started as a Sales Coordinator at USA WEEKEND Magazine, Gannett, Inc. from April 2010 to May 2011. Kate began their career as a Program Associate at Illinois PIRG in 2009.

Kate Gilling attended Clemson University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English.
