Naz Seenauth

Naz Seenauth, LMSW, is an experienced social work professional currently serving as the Deputy Executive Director of Programs at The Ali Forney Center since April 2016. Seenauth has held various roles within the organization, including Director of Training and Capacity Building, Instructor/Coordinator of Training, and Youth Counselor, where responsibilities included crisis counseling, group facilitation, and training new counselors. Prior academic experience includes serving as an Adjunct Professor at John Jay College, teaching courses related to education, justice, and counseling skills. Seenauth's intern roles included positions at True Colors United and Seafarers & International House, where contributions involved content development, community outreach, and case management. Seenauth holds a Master of Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from John Jay College.
