The Alliance
Barb Gould, CMP, VEMM, currently serves as a Senior Meeting and Events Specialist at The Alliance, where responsibilities include overseeing in-person and hybrid meetings for a healthcare insurance cooperative, collaborating with executive leadership, managing the RFP process, and developing program content. Previous roles include Director of Agent Services/Operations at Keller Williams Realty, Inc., where Barb transitioned events to a hybrid format and managed operations for nearly 200 agents, and Meetings Manager at the Society of Critical Care Medicine, where oversight of national conferences involved managing budgets exceeding $1MM and coordinating multiple vendors. Barb began their career as Marketing Services Manager for the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, successfully generating significant revenue through exhibit space and sponsorship sales. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Southern Illinois University and ongoing pursuit of a Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
