Gail Norman

Gail Norman has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. From 2014, they have worked at The ALS Association, starting as the Director of Chapter Relations before moving on to become the Senior Director of Talent Management & Professional Development and the Senior Director of Operations. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing organizational training, talent searches, and operational efficiency. Prior to this, Gail served as the Chief Operating Officer and President/CEO of the Arthritis Foundation Mid Atlantic Region and the Carolinas chapter, respectively. Gail successfully managed the strategic goals and mission of these organizations. Gail also has experience as the Operations Director at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, Dowd Branch. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in non-profit management, board governance, and organizational effectiveness.

Gail Norman holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Belmont Abbey College, which they obtained in 1985. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Gaston College in 1983.
