Patrick Reedy

L. Patrick Reedy, CFRE has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. L. Patrick currently holds the position of Chief Development Officer at The ALS Association. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Development Officer at Shatterproof and worked as a Consultant at Behind the Scenes (BTS) Productions, Inc.

Reedy has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, having worked at organizations such as the Alzheimer's Association and JDRF International. At the Alzheimer's Association, they held the role of Illinois Chapter Executive Director and Region 9 Leader, where they managed a large team and was responsible for achieving a $24.7 million annual revenue goal.

During their time at JDRF International, Reedy held various leadership positions, including National Vice President, Leadership Giving, and Executive Director of the Illinois Chapter and Regional Director of the Upper Midwest Region. L. Patrick successfully led fundraising efforts, raising $40 million annually through major gifts and implementing innovative strategies to support the T1D Fund venture philanthropy initiative.

Reedy also has experience in the healthcare sector, having worked as AVP for Development/Fundraising/Philanthropy at NorthShore University HealthSystem and as Director of Development/Fundraising/Philanthropy at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.

Before transitioning to the nonprofit sector, Reedy worked as a Commercial Loan Officer at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

L. Patrick Reedy, CFRE holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Business Administration, which they obtained from Miami University in 1992. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Immaculate Conception HS from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their formal education, Reedy also obtained the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification from CFRE International in June 2018.
