Mark Stancil

The Atlanta, Georgia resident experienced firsthand and up close the entire life cycle of a person diagnosed with ALS through his close friendship with Marsh Douthat who lived for two short years after his ALS diagnosis.

Stancil has served as Board chair of the Georgia Chapter as well as serving on the chapter’s Finance Committee. He has served on the Board of Representatives, on the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees as well as serving as Chair of the Investment Committee.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Stancil earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1992 and is a member of the Atlanta Financial Analyst Society and CFA Institute.
