Jacob Schumacher has extensive experience in government affairs and science policy, currently serving as the Director of Government Affairs for The American Association of Immunologists since October 2009. Prior roles at the organization include Senior Manager, Manager, and Specialist in Science Policy and Legislative Affairs, as well as Legislative Assistant. Prior to this, Jacob Schumacher worked as a Legislative Correspondent in the United States Senate from July 2006 to December 2008. Jacob Schumacher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon, obtained between 2003 and 2006.
