David Nickols

David Nickols has extensive experience in leadership and governance across various sectors, including renewable energy and engineering. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees and Treasurer at The American Center of Research since July 2017, David also holds prominent positions as Chairman at Floating Power Plant and ITP Renewables, as well as Managing Director at Nickols Limited since 2012. Additional roles include Independent Director at Arabtech Jardaneh and Liveryman with The Worshipful Company of Water Conservators. David has been involved with ITPEnergised as Director and has provided consultancy services at the Arab Center for Engineering Studies. Previously, David chaired the Expert Panel for Water at the Institution of Civil Engineers and held the position of Managing Director at WSP Future Energy. David earned a MA in Engineering from the University of Cambridge between 1978 and 1981.
