Holly Goring is an experienced editor and content creator in the ceramics field, currently serving as the Editor of Potter Making Illustrated at The American Ceramic Society since October 2008. Under Goring's leadership, the magazine has established itself as the premier how-to publication in ceramics, emphasizing education, community outreach, and artist promotion. Previous roles include Associate Editor of Ceramics Monthly and Manager of the International Ceramic Arts Network, alongside positions as Managing Editor for both Ceramics Monthly and Pottery Making Illustrated. Goring's teaching experience encompasses roles as a Ceramics Instructor at the University of Minnesota and Weisman Art Museum, complemented by a solid academic foundation with a Master of Fine Arts from The Ohio State University and a BFA and BA in Fine Arts-Ceramics and Art History from the University of Minnesota.
