Lisa McDonald is a seasoned editor with extensive experience in science communication, currently serving as the Editor for The American Ceramic Society since November 2018. McDonald oversees publications such as the ACerS Bulletin and Ceramic & Glass Manufacturing magazines, as well as the Ceramic Tech Today blog and Ceramic Tech Chat podcast. Previous roles include Associate Managing Editor and Associate Editor at The American Ceramic Society, where responsibilities included writing, curating content, and producing digital media. McDonald has also interned with CERN's ATLAS Communication & Outreach team, contributed to science policy at the American Institute of Physics, and held editorial positions in college newspapers. McDonald holds a Master's degree in Science Communication from Laurentian University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Communication Studies from Coe College.
