Underwriting

The Underwriting team at The American P&I Club is responsible for assessing and managing risks associated with providing insurance coverage for Protection and Indemnity as well as Freight, Demurrage, and Defense. This involves evaluating insurance applications, setting premiums, and determining terms of coverage to ensure a balanced risk portfolio. They work closely with other departments to maintain the club's high standards of service and risk management across its global operations.
