Barbara Hickman, M.S., CMP, has extensive experience in meeting and conference management, currently serving as Meeting Manager at the American College of Radiology since August 2012. In this role, Barbara manages logistics for conferences, creating detailed specifications related to food and beverage selections, audio/visual requirements, and room setups for specialized medical presentations. Prior to this, Barbara worked as Manager of Conference & Meeting Services at the American Society of Civil Engineers (July 2007 - April 2012), where responsibilities included planning large conferences and developing budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness. Previously, Barbara held the position of Director of Management Programs at the Associated General Contractors of America (December 1990 - July 2007), where Barbara organized and marketed educational programs for construction professionals. Barbara holds a Master of Science in Adult Learning & Human Resource Development from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from American University.
