Joy Meads

Joy Meads has extensive experience in theater, currently serving as the Director of Dramaturgy and New Works at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco since July 2018. Prior to this role, Joy held positions as the Literary Manager and Artistic Engagement Strategist at Center Theatre Group from 2011 to July 2018, and as Literary Manager at Steppenwolf Theatre Company from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, Joy was Associate Artistic Director at California Shakespeare Theater from 2003 to 2007. Joy Meads received a degree from New York University, where studies were completed between 1997 and 2001.
