Chip Carew

Chip Carew is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in infrastructure management and engineering. Currently serving as Senior Manager of IT Infrastructure at the American Kennel Club since 2007, Chip oversees Enterprise Security, Disaster Recovery, and the continuous operations of web properties. Prior roles include National Director of Engineering and Technology at SpectraSite Communications, where Chip led the RF Design Team for Indoor Cellular Networks, and VP of Engineering and CTO at Kivex.com, where Chip played a crucial role in expanding internet services to 17 major cities. Earlier experience includes serving as a Network Operations and Design Engineering Consultant at Digital Equipment Corporation and as a Research Engineer at NIST, focusing on innovative technologies. Chip holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech.
