Director Of Outreach | GW Alcsi at The American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative

Humay Sadig is a dedicated professional currently engaged in multiple roles related to public health and nutrition. Serving as a Research Intern at the California State University, Fresno, Humay supports efforts on homelessness through the Central Valley Health Policy Institute. At The George Washington University-Milken Institute School of Public Health, Humay works as a Research Specialist focusing on food insecurity among students and also contributes as a Research Assistant analyzing food system investments. In addition, as Director of Outreach for the American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative, Humay organizes outreach events in Washington, D.C. Other experiences include serving as Co-Blood Drive Coordinator for the GW Red Cross, Health Education Facilitator for the DC Metro Urban Health Program, and Summer Intern at the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan. Humay's leadership roles include President and Vice President of Programs for the GW Azerbaijani Students Association, alongside previous work in education as an English Language Instructor. Humay is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences at The George Washington University, expected to graduate in May 2026.
