George Hatzmann

George was elected to the Board of Trustees in June 2018 and is a member of the Admin/Finance Committee and co-chairs the DEI Committee. George has also served as Secretary to the Board since November 2019.

George began his career at two major law firms in New York (Shearman & Sterling, and Mayer Brown), before moving to Tishman Speyer, a real estate owner and operator with a worldwide portfolio, where he served as legal counsel for the US and South America.

In 2010, George and his family moved to the UK, where George serves as managing director and general counsel at Tishman Speyer’s London office. George oversees Tishman Speyer’s activities and assets throughout Europe and in India and plays a lead role in the company’s legal, compliance, and regulatory matters.
