Dalia Abubakr

Dalia Abubakr has a diverse work experience with a focus on digital communications and content creation. Dalia joined The American University in Cairo in 1996 and held various positions, including Senior Director of Digital Communications and Director of Content and Editorial Services. In these roles, Dalia oversaw web presence, managed content teams, and created promotional videos. Prior to their tenure at the university, Dalia worked at the National Telecom Regulatory Authority as the Publications Unit Manager and at Al-Ahram Establishment as a Senior Translator and Website Content Editor. Dalia also served as the Media and Publications Coordinator at The Egyptian Satellite Company, Nilesat.

Dalia Abubakr completed their high school education at the Armenian Catholic Sisters' School, where they obtained a Thanawia Amma degree in 1991. Later, they attended Ain Shams University from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Alsun with a focus on the English Department. In 2018, Dalia completed a Graduate Diploma in Arabic Studies and Islamic Studies at The American University in Cairo.
