Khalil Elkhodary is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in computational mechanics. Currently serving as the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies and a Professor at The American University in Cairo since September 2012, Khalil has held positions as both an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the same field. Prior to this, Khalil worked as a Postdoctoral researcher in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics at Northwestern University from 2010 to August 2012 and gained industry experience as a Design Engineer in R&D at Omni Oil Technologies between September 2005 and August 2006. Khalil Elkhodary holds a PhD in Computational Mechanics from North Carolina State University and has completed postdoctoral studies in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics at Northwestern University. Additional academic qualifications include a MSc in Computational Micromechanics and Applied Mathematics and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, both from The American University in Cairo.
