Nada Shaker

Nada Shaker is an experienced freelance writer currently contributing to Arab News and Al-Monitor since September 2022 and 2020, respectively. In addition to writing, Nada serves as a co-instructor at The American University in Cairo (AUC) while also pursuing a master’s degree in Television and Digital Journalism at the same institution, where documentary filmmaking focuses on cultural and women empowerment topics. Previously, Nada held the position of account executive at The Zonal and worked at Hawa Ltd (ONtv) producing news reports and feature stories. Nada earned a master’s degree from AUC in December 2021 and a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the university in 2017.
