Paul J. Lawler

Mr. Paul J. Lawler (elected in October 2012) is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) who served as Chief Investment Officer and Vice President of Finance and Investments for the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, from which he retired in 2009. During his tenure at the Kellogg Foundation, he was responsible for providing operational and administrative leadership for investments, external relations for the treasury, and cash management and risk management services. He also monitored the operations of the Kellogg Trust.

Mr. Lawler earned his BA in architecture and political science from Yale University. His professional background includes Vice President at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York; Treasurer and Assistant Vice President of Finance at Columbia University; Junior bank officer in commercial lending and corporate finance J.P. Morgan and Company and Director of Junior Achievement of Southwest Michigan. Currently, he serves as a trustee of First Eagle Family of Mutual Funds, Blackstone Alternative Asset Fund, the Ravena Coeymans Historical Society, and Coeymans Heritage Society.
