Scott Wise

Scott Wise has extensive work experience in sourcing, supply chain management, planning, and quality control. Scott most recently worked as the Vice President of Sourcing at The AMES Companies, Inc., starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they held positions such as Director of Global Sourcing, Director of Supply Chain, Director of Planning, and Forecasting Manager at the same company. Scott was responsible for various functions including purchasing/sourcing, materials planning, transportation, and supplier quality.

Before joining The AMES Companies, Inc., Scott worked at Lear Corporation. Scott held roles such as Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Team Leader, Warehouse Manager, Cost Estimator, and Shift Supervisor.

Throughout their career, Scott Wise has gained extensive travel experience, visiting countries such as China, Taiwan, India, Brazil, Guatemala, and Sri Lanka. Scott has managed budgets ranging from $40 million in freight to direct spends of $450 million. Some of their responsibilities included working with key customers, sales, and marketing to develop demand plans, evaluating supplier performance, and ensuring materials procurement aligns with organizational needs.

Scott Wise attended Boiling Springs High School, graduating in 1985. Following high school, they enrolled at Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Management and Economics, completing their studies in 1989.
