Lauren Allen-Jones

Mrs. Jones is a College & Career Advisor for The Hartford Board of Education/ CREC Open Choice Program. Lauren, along with her husband, Greg Jones, established the Legacy Foundation more than a decade ago in Hartford. The Foundation focuses on addressing disparities in education and health that directly impact students of color and their families. They established the My Brothers’ Keeper Program and tutorial programs for students in several Hartford schools. Board involvement includes: Jack & Jill Foundation, A Better Chance, Simsbury CT. Community involvement includes: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Legacy Foundation.
