Richard Butler is an experienced finance professional with a strong focus on global fixed income, particularly in Emerging Markets, Macro, High Yield, and Investment Grade portfolios. Currently serving as an Associate Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Analyst at Allianz Global Investors since June 2016, Richard has also contributed as a Board Member for The Amos Bursary since October 2018, supporting the career development of British youth of African and Caribbean heritage. Previous roles include a Graduate Intern at BlueBay Asset Management and a Researcher at Barrington Hibbert Associates, alongside an Analyst position at Whitefoord LLP where significant contributions included re-engineering portfolio pricing processes and conducting market analysis. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Coventry University.
