Mj Anderson

MJ (Mike) Anderson has extensive experience in the agriculture and merchandising sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Merchandising for the Trade Group at The Andersons, Inc. since June 2003. In various leadership roles, MJ has been instrumental in ensuring compliance with futures and swap regulations, managing hedging strategies, and overseeing operations for large teams and multiple assets. Key achievements include developing a successful origination and barge merchandising program on the Mississippi River, managing cash trade and hedging for diverse grain commodities, and consistently exceeding trading targets. MJ holds an M.B.A. in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from the University of Tennessee at Martin and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University.
