Alaina Sloo

Alaina Sloo is a seasoned seed stage investor with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem, currently operating as an Angel Investor since 2008 and serving as a Partner at The Angels' Forum since May 2015, where mentorship and strategic advice are provided to Silicon Valley startups. Previous roles include Managing Director and Librarian at Peninsula School, where a passion for storytelling and information literacy was fostered in children. Alaina has held various marketing and product management positions at companies like Danger, Inc., Microsoft WebTV Networks, Beatnik, Inc., Philips Electronics, Goldberg Moser O’Neill Advertising, and General Magic, contributing to the success of early wireless and Internet technologies. Alaina holds a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College and a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Washington.
