Benjamin Gillard

Benjamin Gillard is an experienced clergyman currently serving as the Interim Priest-in-Charge at St. Aidan's in the Beach within the Anglican Diocese of Toronto since April 2025. Prior to this role, Benjamin held positions as Priest-in-Charge at St. Thomas, Brooklin from September 2021 to June 2024, and as Curate and Lay Pastoral Associate in the Parishes of St. Monica and St. John the Baptist, Norway from October 2018 to May 2021. Benjamin's earlier experience includes being a Summer Incumbent at Saint Christopher's, McGregor Bay, and various roles at Massey College, including Don of Hall and Manager of the Summer Residence Programme. Additionally, Benjamin has a background in business development as demonstrated in the role at Northstar Trade Finance, and experience in facilitation and stakeholder engagement through an internship at Swerhun Decision-Making & Facilitation Inc. Benjamin also held leadership positions in student organizations during academic pursuits, earning a JD from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, a Master's Degree in Divinity from the University of Toronto, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the same institution.
