Som Meaden

Som Meaden is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in design, development, and technology strategy. Currently serving as a judge at The Anthem Awards since November 2021, Som previously held the role of Chief Technology Officer at an environmental non-profit from May 2017 to February 2022, where the focus was on creating a platform for global citizen engagement regarding the Great Barrier Reef. Prior experience includes positions as Head of Development and Interactive Designer at two separate advertising agencies, along with freelance work in design and development across various creative sectors. Som's formative career included an interaction designer role at an education startup and contributions to a government agency, notably involving archival work and game design for educational purposes, and education at The University of Queensland.
