Dave Matea is a seasoned graphic design professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Graphic Designer at The Apex Agency since February 2023, Dave also operates Matea Design, a venture established in 1995. Prior experience includes roles at California State University, Long Beach and Chapman University, both of which involved contributions until retirement. Earlier in the career, Dave worked with various agencies in Los Angeles and Orange County from 1991 to 2009. Educationally, Dave holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from California State University, Long Beach and a Master of Arts in Graphic Design/Printmaking from California State University, Fullerton.
