David King

David King has a diverse work experience in the arts and education sector. David has held roles such as Director of Education at the Apollo Theater, Professional Actor at Actors' Equity Association, and Program Director at Community-Word Project. David also co-founded The Seven Collective, where they served as a curator, artist, educator, and facilitator. Throughout their career, they have worked as a Teaching Artist at organizations like Free Arts NYC, Harlem Children's Zone, WHCR 90.3 FM NY, Sylvan Learning, LeAp, and Kaplan.

David King completed their Brooklyn Tech and Regents Diplomas in Civil Engineering at Brooklyn Technical High School from 1997 to 2001. David then pursued a B.A. in Theatre at The City College of New York from 2001 to 2006. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Bystander Intervention and Conflict De-escalation Trainings in 2021, Youth Mental Health First Aid in 2019, and First Aid/CPR in 2007.
