Dawanna Williams

Dawanna Williams is the Director at Apollo Theater. Dawanna has over 20 years of experience in the field of commercial real estate transactions. Dawanna has advised clients on feasible structures for real estate transactions involving leasing, joint ventures, construction loans, development matters, preferred equity investments, and mezzanine financing. Dawanna has also supervised due diligence teams for lending institutions, investment banks, municipalities, and developers. In addition, they have negotiated, reviewed and drafted commercial real estate documents involving acquisitions, developments, leasing and financing. Dawanna has cultivated strong relationships with clients, corporate boards and government regulators.

After graduating from Frederick Douglass High School, Dawanna Williams attended Smith College where they earned an A.B. in Economics & Government. Dawanna then went on to the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and earned their Doctor of Law (J.D.). After passing the bar, they became a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, and the Bar Association of the District of Columbia. Dawanna currently works as a Master of Public Administration (MPA) at Harvard Kennedy School.
