Kelly Davids has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Kelly has served as the Senior Vice President at The Appraisal Foundation since 2013, where they manage day-to-day operations and leads strategic initiatives. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Team Leader at Ohio Auditor of State Dave Yost in 2012 and 2013. From 2005 to 2011, they held the position of Superintendent at the Ohio Department of Commerce's Division of Real Estate & Professional Licensing. Before that, they served as the Director of the Office of Reading Improvement and Executive Administrator of OhioReads at the Ohio Department of Education from 2001 to 2005. In 1999 and 2001, they were the Director of Constituent Inquiries at the Office of Ohio Governor Bob Taft. Kelly Davids also has experience in the judicial system, serving as the Marion County Clerk of Courts from 1993 to 1999 at the Marion County Common Pleas Court and as Deputy Clerk at the Marion Municipal Court from 1984 to 1992. In addition, they were the Mayor of the Village of LaRue from 1982 to 1991.
Kelly Davids earned an Associate's degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Terra State Community College from 1977 to 1979. From 1992 to 1997, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Franklin University. Lastly, from 2009 to 2012, they completed their education by receiving a Master of Arts - MA in Public Policy and Administration from The Ohio State University.
