The Aquidneck Club
The Aquidneck Club is a private New England Club committed to being a coastal escape for its members and their families. Located directly on Narragansett Bay in Newport County, RI, the Club is unique with its seaside Donald Steel golf course, vast sporting and event offerings, and communal atmosphere. Formerly the Carnegie Abbey Club, the club was originally opened by Peter de Savary two decades ago on 300-plus acres leased from the Benedictine monks who operate Portsmouth Abbey School. In January of 2019, a group of former Carnegie Abbey members purchased this beautiful location to create a new world-class member-owned club.
