Anna Jacobs

Anna Jacobs is a Senior Analyst at the International Crisis Group, focusing on the Gulf states. Anna is also a Non-Resident Fellow at The Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington, providing analysis on foreign policy and political economy developments. Previously, Anna has held roles such as Senior Political Officer at The Shaikh Group, Senior Research Assistant at The Brookings Institution, and Adjunct Professor at Ecole de Gouvernance et d'Economie de Rabat, among others. Anna holds a Master of Philosophy in Modern Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and French Language and Literature from the University of Virginia.
