Mary Casey-Baker has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mary is currently serving as the Chief Content Officer and Executive Editor at The Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Publications and Digital Media at the same institute from January 2017 to March 2022. Mary also worked as the Deputy Director of Program Outreach and Communication from March 2015 to January 2017.

Alongside their work at the institute, Mary has pursued freelance work as a Sound Designer and Audio Mixer since 2009. Mary Casey-Baker obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Industry from James Madison University from 1998 to 2002. Mary then pursued further education and completed a Master of Arts degree in International Development Studies, Conflict Resolution, and Middle Eastern Studies from The George Washington University, Elliott School of International Affairs between 2009 and 2011.
