Karen Haas

Karen Haas has over 25 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities. Karen began their career in 1994 at Bancroft Neurohealth as a Counsler/1:1/Teacher's Assistant, where they provided support to children with developmental disabilities and assisted in the development of individualized education program (IEP) goals. In 1999, they joined The Arc of Montgomery County as a Special Instructor, working directly with individuals with disabilities to promote their development. Karen also served as a Contract Coordinator at The Arc of Montgomery, Berks, and Bucks Counties, managing contracts related to developmental disability services. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant Director/Contracts at The Arc Alliance, where they oversee contract management.

Karen Haas completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive Rehabilitation from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, which they attended from 1990 to 1994. Karen also pursued Special Education and Teaching at Penn State Great Valley, but no information is provided regarding the duration or completion of this program.
