Maia Wentrup

Maia Wentrup is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in program management, writing, and community development. Currently serving as the Program Director of Family Supports and Recreation at The Arc of Opportunity in North Central Massachusetts since June 2023, Maia previously worked as a freelance writer and editor since 2008. Notable roles include copy editor for Antennae: The Journal of Nature and Visual Culture, Community Development Specialist for Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts, and supervising various educational and volunteer initiatives at Workers Credit Union and Community Harvest Project, Inc. Maia holds a Master's degree in Animals and Public Policy from Tufts University, a BA in Political Science and Spanish from Purdue University, and a Master of Education in Early Education and Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University.
