Leigh McHargue

Leigh McHargue is an experienced human resources professional with a diverse background in recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and policy development. Currently serving as the Director of Employer Resources at The Arc Central Chesapeake Region since May 2021, McHargue previously held roles at Lorien Health Services as both Corporate Centralized Recruiter and Human Resources Director, where a comprehensive approach to hiring and employee management was implemented. Prior experience includes positions such as Human Resources Specialist at The Arc of Frederick County and Human Resources & Payroll Manager at Koons Automotive Companies. McHargue holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and has continued professional development through various certifications.
