Heather Foster, RN, BSN, possesses extensive nursing experience across various healthcare settings. Currently serving as a Registered Nurse at The Arc Ontario since October 2022, Heather is responsible for supervising healthcare services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring compliance with OPWDD and New York State regulations. Previously, Heather worked as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at UR Thompson Health from August 2021 to October 2022, providing skilled care in an intensive care unit and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Heather also has experience as a Registered Nurse at Magee-Womens Hospital Of UPMC and completed a critical care rotational program, which included significant time in emergency and intensive care. Earlier roles include Patient Care Technician at UPMC Mercy and Licensed Veterinary Technician at various veterinary facilities. Heather holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Ohio University and an Associate's degree in Nursing from Community College of Allegheny County, in addition to an AAS in Veterinary Technology from Alfred State College.
