Kristen Pedersen

Kristen came to The Arc from Oak Hill School in 2011, where she was Director of Development. Kristen, who assumed the Executive Director role on January 16, 2021, had previously been the Senior Director of Business Development & Workforce Inclusion, overseeing all of The Arc San Francisco’s Employment Services including immersion internship programs through Project SEARCH and The Arc's employment placement and coaching specialists. Kristen drove The Arc's Universal Learning for the Workplace initiative, which builds and focuses on the skills and assets of clients, in both job search and job retention. Kristen holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Miami and a Masters of Public Health from the University of San Francisco. Kristen is a past Circle Co-Chair of the Full Circle Fund, a community that leverages resources and accelerates nonprofits to build a better Bay Area.
