Arc of Westchester
Joanna Galeano is a dedicated Special Education Teacher with experience at Arc of Westchester since September 2015. Previously, Joanna served as a Student Teacher in the Port Chester School District and the White Plains City School District, where lessons were taught in resource rooms and general education classrooms. Joanna has developed and implemented individualized lesson plans for students with varying learning disabilities, collaborated with educators and service providers, and participated in educational evaluations and CSE meetings. Joanna holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and Teaching, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Teaching, both from Pace University, and is committed to fostering inclusive learning environments.
