Melinda Iannarone Geraghty has a varied work experience that spans over several years. Melinda most recently worked as the Chief Program Officer at THE ARC/MORRIS COUNTY CHAPTER, overseeing program operations. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Disability Support Services at Children's Aid and Family Services, where they managed a $16 million budget and ensured compliance with Medicaid and licensing requirements. Melinda also served as the Director of the Adult Day Program and Supports - STRIVE and held various roles in community relations and volunteer coordination at the same organization. In addition to their work at Children's Aid and Family Services, Melinda worked as an Adjunct Professor at Montclair State University, where they taught Forensic Interviewing of Children. Melinda also had experience as a Social Creative Arts Therapy Coordinator at MARBLEJAM KIDS INC and as a Volunteer/Mentor Coordinator at Project COPE. Previously, Melinda had worked as a Graduate Assistant at Montclair State University.
Melinda Iannarone Geraghty obtained their Bachelor's degree in Jurisprudence and Political Science, with a minor in Public Administration and a certificate in Child Advocacy from Montclair State University. Melinda then pursued a Master's degree in Child Advocacy and Policy, also at Montclair State University, from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their degrees, they have additional certifications in Leadership and Non-Profit Management from William Paterson University of New Jersey.
