Louis Nell

Louis Nell serves as the Head of M&A at The Ardonagh Group since January 2024, bringing extensive experience in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this role, Louis was a Corporate Finance Director at Keey Partners from March 2015 to February 2024, specializing in consulting services for clients in the insurance market. Louis also held the position of Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. from January 2011 to February 2015, where responsibilities included managing financial integration and improvement projects. Additionally, Louis worked as an Assistant Director at Ernst & Young in London, providing transaction support services from January 2007 to January 2011. Louis began a career in finance at PricewaterhouseCoopers, advancing from the External Audit division in Bloemfontein to governance risk and compliance in Johannesburg between 1999 and 2006. Louis holds a B.Compt degree in Accounting, Auditing, Tax, and Economics from the University of the Free State, completed in 1998.
