Martyn Scrivens

Martyn Scrivens is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in governance and audit roles across various sectors. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at The Ardonagh Group and as Chair of the Audit Committee, Scrivens also holds Non Executive Director positions at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and Hampshire Trust Bank. Previously, Martyn was Chairman of Yeovil District Hospital until its merger with Somerset Foundation Trust in April 2023, and held Non Executive Director roles at RateSetter and consultant at Grant Thornton LLP. With a strong background in auditing, Martyn held senior positions at Credit Suisse, where Scrivens served as Group Chief Auditor and Senior Advisor, and at Lloyds Banking Group as Group Audit Director. Scrivens began a distinguished career at Arthur Andersen, culminating in a partnership. Education was completed at the University of Oxford.
