Sonia Weymuller

Sonia Weymuller is a Co-Founder and General Partner at VentureSouq, a MENA-based venture capital fund manager focused on FinTech and ClimateTech since 2013. Currently serving as a Kauffman Fellow and jury member for the Cartier Women's Initiative, Sonia also holds advisory roles on the Sustainability MENA board for Village Capital and as an expert and ambassador for THE ARK, a global network for wildlife conservation. Previously, Sonia was a board member for the Middle East Venture Capital Association and TiE Dubai, and has accumulated experience in investment consulting and commercial development with companies like Acumen, Turner Broadcasting System, and MTV Networks International. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Yale University and a Master’s degree in Politics and Communication from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
